Alison graduated with a BSc Honours degree in acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading (www.cicm.org.uk).

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist Alison worked as a paediatric nurse and health visitor in London and in a senior nursing post in Bristol. She has had a long standing interest in complementary therapies, particularly Chinese Medicine, and its emphasis on holistic health and well-being.

Alison is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (the main regulatory body for acupuncturists) and practices within a strict Code of Safe Practice on hygiene and safety standards.

Alison's approach to acupuncture is gentle, thorough and sensitive and she aims to provide the best possible care for her patients, focusing on their individual needs. She aims to work alongside colleagues from other health disciplines to achieve the best outcome for her patients.
